Choose a book from the following. These books can be downloaded and read with an “epub” reader like Google Play or “Calibre e-book management”. The level is “B1 Intermediate”.

NOTE 2: If you use a PC or laptop, you shouldn’t need to register to download the books, but if you access the website on a smartphone, you will need to register – it’s up to you!

READER QUESTIONS. PREPARE YOUR ANSWERS AND BE READY TO REPLY IN WRITING AND/ OR ORALLY AFTER CHRISTMAS

  • What book did you read and who is the author?
  • Why did you choose it?
  • What did you like and dislike about the book?
  • Which character/s in the book did you like and dislike most? Why?
  • Which character would you like to meet or which place in the book would you like to visit? Explain why
  • Do you have a favourite quote from the book? Why do you like it?
  • If you could speak to the author, what questions would you ask him/her?
  • If you could change something about the book, what would it be? (e.g. the ending, or anything else) What change would you make?
  • What language – grammar, expressions, pronunciation (if there was audio) etc – have you learnt?
  • Have you learnt anything else? ( E.g. some historical or cultural fact, or anything else.)
  • Do you recommend this book to your classmates? Why? /Why not?
